1. How big does your Scottie think he/she is?

Big enough to take care of it's own fleas.
Big enough to take care of the neighbor's toy poodle through the fence (provided he hasn't been doused in perfume.)
Big enough to back a Great Dane into to a corner and make him tremble with fear.
Big enough to cause a rabid Steer to lose control of it's bodily functions.

2. Does your Scottie like vegetables?

No, my Scottie prefers his/her kibble.
No, the only thing other than dog food he/she likes is Frosty Paws.
Yes, occasionally he/she will beg for a carrot.
YES! My Scottie could clean out a salad bar in 10 seconds flat!

3. How does your Scottie react around company/strangers?

My Scottie would go home with anyone.
My Scottie only greets visitors after I assure him/her it's okay.
My Scottie ignores everybody.
My Scottie calls the Scottie Special Forces at any sigh of suspicious criminal activity.

4. Does your Scottie burp?

No, my Scottie is too polite to do that.
Sometimes my Scottie will let one slip, but it's purely an accident, and he/she immediately apologizes.
Yes, he/she waits until just after they eat or drink and walk right up to my face and act like they are gonna give me sugar, and then they let 'er rip.
YES, it shakes the house to it's foundations and makes the wall paper turn loose.

5. Does your Scottie lick it's feet excessively before going to bed?

No, my Scottie would never lick his/her feet, he/she would consider it rude.
Yes, my Scottie sometimes licks his feet before bedtime, but he/she is very quiet about it and tries not to disturb others.
Yes, my Scottie licks his/her feet all the time, and I find it most annoying.
My Scottie has no feet, he licked them off!

6. If your Scottie was a person, who would he/she be?

7. Does your Scottie rub all over the floor/furniture after a bath?

No, my Scottie is content to let me dry him/her.
No, my Scottie just rubs on his/her blanket/towel.
Yes, my Scottie is all over the furniture and floor after a bath.
YES, my Scottie soaks every single piece of furniture in the house after a bath.

8. Has your Scottie ever left a kill:

Outside, where you might find it in a few days.
Outside on the porch/deck where you are sure to find it in the morning.
In his/her bed where you are sure to find it before bedtime, AND have to change the bed.
At your feet at night while you are watching television.

9. When you call your Scottie "come" he/she:

Come flying at mock 9 and jumps straight into your loving arms.
Comes, but at his/her pace, only to walk past you where they get there.
Practices "selective hearing" only coming when it is in their best interest to do so.
Ignores you completely. "Come, what does 'come' mean?"

10. When your Scottie drinks does he/she:

Sips politely, not getting the beard wet at all.
Drinks casually, getting the beard moderately wet.
Slurps noisily, and soaks their beard..then comes looking for you to give wet Scottie kisses.
Guzzles obnoxiously, getting their whole head wet, and then using the beard to "mop" the floor, while looking for other crumbs dropped near the bowls.

11. If your Scottie listened to music, what would it be?

Classical

12. Has your Scottie ever snuck food off of the kitchen table?

No, my Scottie wouldn't ever do a thing like that.
Well, maybe, once in a great while, if no one was looking.
My Scottie pushes furniture from other parts of the house to get up on the table.
My Scottie climbs up on the table while we are eating supper and helps him/her-self.

13. Does your Scottie "Arooooooo?"

My Scottie has never even so much as barked.
My Scottie "arooooo-ed" once, but I think it was an accident, as he/she looked startled afterwards.
My Scottie "arooooo's" whenever he wants something, usually food.
My Scottie "arooooo's" at EVERYTHING....cars, squrrels,other dogs, mailman, garbage man, computer, washing machine, bagpipe music, cold oatmeal....

14. How does your Scottie get along with other dogs?

My Scotties report card would say "plays well with others."
My Scottie does pretty well with other dogs, no matter what size.
My Scottie only has occasional squabbles with other dogs, and it's over food or a favorite toy.
My Scottie is the school-yard bully, do it my way or feel the teefers.

15. Does your Scottie roll is stinky stuff?

No, my Scottie would never do that, because he/she knows that it leads to a bath.
Yes, occasionally my Scottie will come home with an "unidentified" smell enshrouding him/her.
Yes, my Scottie will roll in anything nasty that he/she can find.
YES, my Scottie actively seeks out the most vulgar, foul, rotten smell and coats himself/herself with it, and then wants to rub on the carpet!!!!

16. What is your Scotties idea of playing "Buster Cube"?

My Scottie LOVES his Buster Cube, he knocks it around the house all day and all night--even when its empty.
My Scottie likes to play Buster Cube occasionally...but he has to be really hungry before he will play with it.
My Scottie doesn’t like his Buster Cube much, but a little coaxing with his favorite treat gets him to "attempt" to play, just to satisfy me.
My Scotties Idea of "Buster Cube" is to make mamma get down on all fours, stand on her head, and other wise make a fool out of herself, while she rolls the cube around the Scotties pick up the goodies. (Scotties are not stupid!)

17. What does your Scottie do with a new toy?

Plays with it gently, so as not to destroy it, but has a good time. Toys last years.
Plays with it roughly, but when he realizes the seems are getting worn, retires the toy in favor of a new. Toys last months.
Plays violently with the toy sometimes leaving a piece or two here or there. Toys last several days, if not a week.
Completely destroys the toy, execution style, by gutting it, ruining the squeakers, tearing them out, leaving stuffing from one end of the house to the other...and other wise making a mess. Toys last 3.5 minutes.

18. While walking your Scottie on a leash, he/she:

Walks quietly at your side.
Walks just ahead of you, but doesn’t pull tug or make a pest of him/her-self.
Weaves ahead of you, making it difficult to walk, but seemingly enjoying every sight, sound and smell.
Walks ahead, pulling, stops at every bug, wrapper, blade of grass, dog ect.. to check it out, looks indignant when you urge him/her to "Come ON!" and generally makes a pest of him/her self.

19. If your Scottie were making dinner for its friends, what would it serve?

Duck a la 'Rounge, with a white wine and crepes for dessert
McDonalds hamburgers for all
Grilled steaks with Mac and Cheese
Wild rabbit, that he caught him/her-self

20. Does your Scottie "scratch off" after eliminating?

No, my scottie politely does his/her business and comes right back inside.
Sometimes, but only when he/she is in a strange place, not often at all.
Frequently, usually when there has been another dog around, or another "pack" member, he/she makes quite a rut, and its about a foot long.
Every TIME!!! You should SEE my yard. There are HUGE craters, displaced grass on top of the car and the house......and the "ruts" are about 6 feet long. In fact, he/she usually "kicks" their way back into the house!!!!

100-80: CONGRATULATIONS!!! You have a Plaid wearing, Bagpipe toting, card carrying Scottish Terrier, valiant, true, and loyal, if not a little stubborn. He/She is probably already a member of the Scottie Special Forces and if not would be a good candidate.

79-60: You have a true terrier, although it's character isn't as bold and fierce as some it still rings true to the terrier spirit and is a loyal and loving companion, who could definitely hold his own if necessary. Application to the Scottie Special Forces might prove to boost morale.

59-40: Your Scottie seems to be lacking in many ways of "Scottism", but occasionally something will light a fire and that true terrier spirit will shine through, in which case you almost always say..."was that MY dog????" Perhaps it is buried under years of obedience classes??? Social interaction with other Scotties will improve outlook and offer to release the "Scottie within".

39-Below: I hate to be the one to break it to you, but I think someone sold you a Golden Retriever in a Scottie suit. IMMEDIATELY get down your little black dog and search for the zipper and let that dog out, he must be terribly cramped! If you can't find a zipper, then your Scottie friend needs to spend more time around "proper" Scotties to learn how to behave....I have an inkling that he might have been brainwashed by "puh-duls".
