The Steiff - Basenji

Since I have been a Steiff-fan since my childhood I got in touch with Steiff- Button in the Ear on the occasion of the Nuremberg Toy Fair in spring 1997. At last the “damned” Basenjis should see the light of the day also in cuddly toy size. The minimum amount of 1500 shocked me a little bit but after a surprisingly big worldwide interest I tackled it. After many conferences, discussions and several prototypes our little cuddly-dog was slowly created.
